The Poehlman Family Engineering Scholarship

Established in 2021 by Nate Poehlman, the Poehlman Family Engineering Scholarship will be awarded to a Wake Tech student pursuing an associate degree in Civil Engineering or Geomatics Technology (Surveying). Scholarship awards will be merit-based and prioritize financial need. Poehlman is a Wake Tech alumni of the class of 2009 with an Associates in Civil Engineering Technology and an Associates in Surveying Technology. Poehlman always wanted to give back to the community and especially Wake Tech’s engineering program. “Wake Tech taught me real world application so the transition to the workplace was seamless. I want to help a student financially to accomplish their goals through the engineering department at Wake Tech.”
