Thomas Jacoby EMT/EMS Memorial Scholarship - Childers Foundation
This scholarship was established in 2025 by the Alfred and Marybeth Childers Foundation in memorial of Thomas Jacoby. Thomas graduated from Athens Drive High School in Raleigh in 2017. He went on to pursue his passion for emergency medical services. As an EMT, Thomas was known for his compassionate heart and deep commitment to helping others in their most vulnerable moments. He also worked as a Pediatric Autism Behavioral Technician where his natural ability to connect with children – especially those with special needs – shone brightly. His calm, patient presence made him a trusted and beloved part of children’s lives. This scholarship supports compassionate individuals pursuing an EMT certification or EMS degree who need financial assistance.
