Yates Mill DAR Sarah D. Peterson Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2009 by the Yates Mill Chapter NSDAR to support a female student, 21 years of age or older, who is pursuing a degree, diploma or certificate at Wake Technical Community College. NSDAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children. In 2018, the name was changed to the Yates Mill DAR Sarah D. Peterson Memorial Scholarship.
