The United Therapeutics Endowed Scholarship is established to support students enrolled in biotechnology curriculum programs at Wake Technical Community College. United Therapeutics is the first publicly traded biotechnology company organized as a public benefit corporation, and is committed to investing in the people, programs, and communities that enable innovation to address unmet medical needs of patients.

Established in 2006 to provide merit based financial assistance to students in the Automotive Technology program.

Established in 2013 by Wake Radiology to assist a second-year student pursuing an associate’s degree in the Radiography program at Wake Tech Community College. William H. Sprunt III , MD practiced as a board certified radiologist with Wake Radiology from 1961 thru his retirement in 1996. He was Harvard educated and served on the faculty at UNC -CH.

Established in 2009 by faculty and staff of Wake Technical Community College to support a student enrolled full-time in any degree program. Minimum 2.5 GPA is required.

Established in 2019, the Wake Tech STEM Scholarship is available for students pursuing an associate degree in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. This scholarship was made possible by the generous community support given during Wake Tech’s RTP Campus Partners initiative.

Established with Wake Technical Community College Foundation by Waste Industries of Raleigh to provide scholarships that recognize academic achievement and financial need of students enrolled in the heavy equipment and transport technology curriculum.

Established in 2008 by friends and family of W. Ben Waters, Jr. Scholarships may assist full time students with financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA . Preference given to students enrolled in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences division at Wake Tech.

Established in 2020, the Welcome Federal Credit Union Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a curriculum degree, certificate, or diploma at Wake Tech. Welcome Federal Credit Union is a partner with their members and neighbors, built to serve them financially wherever life takes them.

Established in 2017, the Whiting Turner Engineering Excellence Award will benefit our Associates in Engineering students. Those are ones who are doing their first two years here and then plan to transfer into a four year college/university to pursue a degree in engineering. These are typically high achieving students with need looking for a way to keep the cost down in the first two years because they know they will have to borrow to attend a university.
