Khamari Campbell was a participant with Garner Police Athletic/Activities League Program ( PAAL ) and had a dream of becoming a police officer. He fought a heroic battler against cancer and was named a Garner Honorary Police Officer on February 11, 2017. Khamari lost his battle to cancer on May 29, 2017. The Lenovo Technology Leadership Scholarship is created for the benefit of curriculum students studying for a degree in Information Technologies, which includes degrees in Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Healthcare, Business Informatics, Network Management, Data Storage and Virtualization and Tech Support. The scholarships will prioritize financial need first, followed by merit.

Established in 2002 in memory of Leroy I. Howell, active community leader and father of President Emeritus Bruce I. Howell. This scholarship fund will support merit scholarships for diploma or certificate students enrolled in welding technology or construction management technology. Other one-year (or less) certificate and diploma technology programs that provide students with the skills to return to work will also be considered. This scholarship was endowed in 2011 by a $500,000 gift from the estate of Harold and Shirley Brenner.

The Life Sciences Leaders Scholarship was established in partnership with several industry partners to encourage and inspire students pursuing a career in the life sciences. Priority is given to students enrolled in Biotechnology or Biopharmaceutical Technology, then other STEM programs of study.

This scholarship is established in memory of Linda Heath to benefit students in need as they pursue an education at Wake Tech Community College.

To honor Lou Ann Bentlage Powell, RN BSN MSN CMS for her 36-year career in nursing and is intended to help others begin what she hopes will be a long and successful nursing career.

Established in 2019 by Carfix to provide merit based financial assistance to high school seniors from West Johnston and Cleveland High School who are enrolling in the Automotive Technology program at Wake Tech. This scholarship is made in honor of Louis Allen who opened Allen’s Service Station in White Cross, NC in 1927 and operated it for over 50 years. Carfix is a third-generation Allen Family auto repair center with a belief in giving back to the community and keeping people safe while on the road.

Established in 2008 by Mrs. Martha R. Smith, in memory of her beloved husband, Louis C. Smith. Mrs. Smith decided to invest in the next generation of health care leaders from the community by endowing a nursing scholarship at Wake Tech.

Established in 2014 the LS3P Associates Scholarship is awarded each year to a student pursing a degree from Wake Tech. LS3P is a local architectural firm.
